Remitz is a healthcare technology company headquartered in San Juan, Puerto Rico. We bring scattered patient and billing data together and make it useful.
Physicians retrieve patient records from across the country and ask AskREMI questions, with every answer cited to the source record. Revenue teams find denied and underpaid claims and recover what they're owed.
Why we exist
Healthcare data is everywhere except where it's needed.
A patient's history is spread across dozens of systems: hospitals, specialists, labs, and past practices. Physicians spend their time chasing it through faxes, phone calls, and portals. The same fragmentation shows up in billing, where denied and underpaid claims go unnoticed because the data is too scattered to review.
Our team's roots are in high-volume healthcare claims. We saw firsthand how much time and revenue is lost when clinical and financial data live in silos.
We founded Remitz in 2023 to fix that at the data layer. First we get the data together, then we make it useful.

Remitz is founded
Headquartered in San Juan, Puerto Rico. We start building automated pipelines that bring in, clean, and connect healthcare data.

2023–2024
Building the network
34 partners and more than 100 data agreements in place. Early customers put the first version to work.

2025
Rebuilt around clinical care
We rebuilt the platform for scale and expanded beyond billing into clinical records and physician workflows. We also completed our national network integration and launched a redesigned interface.

Live nationwide
Remitz goes live on national interoperability networks, launches AskREMI, and begins onboarding provider organizations.
